Dear Friends, Supporters and Burke County Voters,

It has been a long campaign, but it is so sweet that we've met with victory at the end of the trail.  Each of you who supported me, and especially those who worked and contributed in the campaign, can be sure that I understand this was not a win for me individually but a win for a whole team working together in myriad ways.  Be assured of my gratitude and of my commitment to truly work hard to justify the job entrusted to me for the next two years as a representative from Burke County to the North Carolina House of Representatives in Raleigh.
